Sculpted Maple Coffee Table.

Sculpted in solid Maple. 

This project was one of the rare pieces that I made for my own gratification and to my own design.  It has certain unusual features which make it different.  It is constructed from Maple and carved to the finished symmetrical shape.  The splayed legs and no straight lines enhance my idea that it looks like it has grown from the ground.  

The glass is 1220 x 540 mm and it stands 510mm from the floor. (that's 48" x  21" x 20" in old money).
